Anna Forster

Anna Forster, 1975, is a Swedish abstract artist based in Stockholm. For Anna, artmaking is a journey of self-discovery and a way to express herself freely in a space beyond rationality. It’s about playing with colours and shapes to transfer her emotions onto the canvas, in a timeless space of wonder.

Anna’s inspiration comes from glimpses of her everyday life and her work reflect both outer and inner landscapes in abstract forms, seeking a sense of "aliveness and wonder" to share with others. Her goal is to capture the essence of nature, human beings, and emotions beyond the spoken word.
